Email: info(at)se-ar.org.uk phone 07907 894946 Public Transport Train If you're coming by train then you should head for Manchester Oxford Rd Station. You may need to change trains if your train arrives at Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria station. From Oxford Rd Station, turn right on Oxford Rd, and it's about 10 minutes walk past the universities. (MAP) Coach If you arrive by coach (public) you will probably end up at Chorlton St Coach Station. From here you can get many buses from Piccadilly bus station which go along Oxford Rd to Whitworth Park, ask at the station or we'll put the numbers here soon. Or if you take the Megabus you may end up at Shude Hill interchange, and from here it's only a short walk to Piccadilly bus station where you can take many buses up Oxford Road to Whitworth Park. Driving and Parking If you've got SatNav the postcode for the Rally is M15 6ER, (MAP). Whitworth Park is on Oxford Road (B5117), just out of the city centre past the two Universities and opposite the Royal Infirmary and the Children's Hospital. Parking There is free parking in all the streets just to the the south of Whitworth Park where the march begins (Moss Lane East and its side roads). So the best option for the day is to leave your vehicle here during for the day, and then either walk or get a bus out later on. It's only a 20 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride from the Centre back up Oxford Road to Whitworth Park, and there are many buses which go this way. Parking in the centre of Manchester can be quite expensive, but there are one or two car parks which are a bit cheaper. For a list of car parks in Manchester and general advice see http://www.manchester.gov.uk/parkinghttp://www.manchester.gov.uk/parking Got Spaces or Need a Lift? If you're driving to the demo and you've got spaces to take fellow protesters please let us know. Or if you need a lift from somewhere let us know and we'll try to help. WDAIL, BM Box 8623, London
